Pursuant to <strong data-start=\"117\" data-end=\"205\">Article 9 of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Circular No. 120\/2020\/TT-BTC<\/span><\/span> issued by the Ministry of Finance<\/strong>, securities companies are only allowed to provide margin lending services to <strong data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"305\">domestic investors<\/strong>, thereby excluding foreign investors from eligibility for such services. In addition, under the trading principles set out in <strong data-start=\"432\" data-end=\"473\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Circular No. 51\/2021\/TT-BTC<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, investors are required to ensure sufficient funds or securities prior to placing trading orders.
